Guy sings and plays his digital Roland Piano at parties, corporate functions, weddings, clubs and pubs right across the West Country and Northern Europe.
He has decided to take time off from live gigs in 2017 to concentrate solely on his songwriting and getting his songs launched and record by other artists. He has released a live studio album called "Closer," which contains 16 of his original songs written over the past 35 years. They are recorded live on grand piano and vocals.
Now he is working on a studio album with his son, Ollie, who is a successful record producer in London, who will be co-producing, mixing and mastering twelve of Guy's songs. this album will be released in late Autumn and will be called "Looking Back."
Guy has brought out three albums; "Keep On Watching" 2004 and "Cat With A Spider" 2010, and "Closer" in July 2017. He also wrote the Top Twenty Status Quo Hit, "Going Down Town Tonight" in 1984 at the tender age of 21. He co-wrote "Here I Go" and "One Step At A Time" with Francis Rossi of Status Quo for Rossi's 2010 Solo Album "One Step At A Time." "One Step At A Time" was on the Radio 2 playlist for four weeks in May of 2010.
He is presently working on his fourth studio album which he hopes to release in late Autumn of 2017 with son Ollie co-producing and daughter, Ella, doing the artwork for the CD cover and sleeve (as she did for "Closer") This album will be called "Looking Back."
